The GA 5-18 VSDS oil-injected screw compressor range comes with a host of innovative smart features that maximize reliability, increase efficiency, and reduce operating costs. The superior efficiency of the GA VSDS is driven by a new, in-house designed drivetrain. The third-generation VSD range also features a variable speed drive cooling fan that works seamlessly with Atlas Copco’s unique Smart Temperature Control valve. This ensures that the oil temperature is always regulated optimally, increasing compressor performance and reliability, as well as oil lifetime in ambient conditions up to 46°C/115°F.
With the optional OPC UA connectivity, this smart compressor will communicate flawlessly with other equipment to ensure an efficient, smooth and safe production with minimal downtime.
