Now, the GA VSDS raises the bar once again with energy savings of up to 60%. This is the new GA 22-37 VSDS , developed and built for a generation that wants it all.

The GA22-37VSDs oil injected screw compressors are packed with innovative smart features

that maximize reliability, increase efficiency and reduce operating costs. Due to Atlas Copco’s

VSDs technology supply and demand are always in perfect balance, eliminating unnecessary

energy losses. The superior efficiency of the VSDs is achieved by a new in-house designed

drive train. It consists of Atlas Copco’s state-of-the-art element in a unique vertical

configuration with an ultra-premium efficiency (IE5) ferrite assisted synchronous reluctance

motor. This new motor technology equals IE5 efficiency without the need of rare earth

materials, making it a completely sustainable solution. The GA22-37VSDs also features a

variable speed driven cooling fan, that works in perfect harmony with Atlas Copco’s smart

thermostatic valve. This ensures that the oil temperature is continuously regulated to its most

efficient point, increasing the compressor performance, reliability as well as oil lifetime and

this for ambient conditions up to 46°C / 115°F. Both fan and main motor are driven by the

Neos Next, an inverter specifically designed b Atlas Copco for the VSDs

. With the optional OPC-UA, this smart compressor will communicate flawlessly with surrounding machines, helping to keep production running efficiently and safely while minimizing downtime.
