Atlas Copco offers a range of filters to reduce all types of contamination in compressed air and nitrogen processes. Designed for maximum contaminant removal and minimal pressure drop, Atlas Copco filters offer significant energy savings in the compressed air system as well as minimising the problems that result from poor air quality.
QF+ filters reduces hydrocarbons, odours and VOC’s from compressed air or nitrogen after a (coalescing filter) and dryer. Assuming proper prefiltration the QF can bring down the VOC level down to 0.003ppm.
The QF+ process filters are tested according to ISO 8573 and ISO 12500 standards. They are designed for an industry leading air purity but also focus on lifecycle cost.
All Atlas Copco process filters comply with FDA CFR Title 21 and EU Regulation No. 1935/2004 on handling compressed air and nitrogen that will have direct contact with food. This confirms that the materials used are inert to prevent substances being transferred to the end product.
• Excellent reliability - A stainless steel housing with passivated or electropolished finishing designed to deliver the highest air quality and be compliant with sterilization cycles.
Fully inert and certified cartridge material merged together without usage of glue.
• Obvious energy saving - Filters sized for an optimal pressure drop minimizing energy consumption.
• Easy installation - Compact size of Atlas Copco filters require minimum installation space and minimal free space for cartridge change.
• Low maintenance cost - Service oriented design allows the service to be performed by a single person. For the larger housings a Davit arm has been included to easily move the top cover aside to perform filter replacements.
These high performance filters are designed for an increased lifetime guaranteeing 1000 running hours.
• SIP and autoclave compliant - Operating in Food and beverage or pharma often requires the filter to go through a sterilization cycle to neutralize the retained microorganisms.
• Food grade compliant cartridges
