Atlas Copco offers a range of filters to reduce all types of contamination in compressed air and nitrogen processes. Designed for maximum contaminant removal and minimal pressure drop, Atlas Copco filters offer significant energy savings in the compressed air system as well as minimising the problems that result from poor air quality.
MFs+ are membrane based filters which reach an absolute level of particle filtration down to >99,999% @0.01µm.
The MFs+ process filters are tested according to ISO 8573 and ISO 12500 standards. They are designed for an industry leading air purity but also focus on lifecycle cost.

• Sterile grade filtration - Atlas Copco sterile grade filters get challenged with a Brevimundimonas Diminuta micro organism challenge test of >107 organisms per cm2 of filter surface where the filter efficiency has to be >99,99999%.
This matches the requirements referred to by the FDA and the EU food regulation.
• Class 0 Filtration - When working with the most demanding applications like electronics and battery we
recommend using absolute grade Class 0 filtration. For these membrane based filters are designed to stop the smallest of particles in the air.
To maintain class 0 air quality it is also needed to combine the MFs cartridge with an electropolished housings to keep the air quality at that absolute class 0 level after the air or nitrogen has passed the filter cartridge.
