Atlas Copco Dessicant Dryer CD630+, APF261671 9 Bar. For resale
The Atlas Copco CD 360-1600 is a twin tower heatless adsorption dryer which removes moisture from compressed air by adsorption process.
All components are mounted on a single common base frame completely wired and ready for installation, with generously sized towers and piping to minimise pressure drop across the dryer.
The dryer can supply dry air to the compressed air system with -40°C / °F pressure dew point (PDP), or -70°C / -95°F PDP (optional). Within the CD 360+-1600+ dryer range we offer 3 different types of controllers. DC1 (basic control), Elektronikon (advanced control) and pneumatic controls. All three of them are designed to guarantee the best operation of the equipment. With pneumatic control the dryer can operate without the use of electrical power. Alarm functions are included for high temperature warnings, low working pressure and shifting failure. A sonic nozzle is installed downstream of the dryer to limit the air velocity, protecting the integrity of the desiccant.
Valves and piping are carefully sized to ensure limited pressure drop, increasing the efficiency of the dryer and ultimately reduce the overall energy consumption.
The dryer can be equipped with a dew point sensor (not available if equipped with pneumatic control). This will greatly reduce the energy consumption when the dryer is running in partial load conditions.
The dryer can be ordered with an optimized purge nozzle. When operating above 7bar(e) / 101.5PSIG this will save energy by minimizing purge loss. When operating below 7bar(e) / 101.5PSIG this will guarantee the required dew point.
