G fixed speed compressor
8152103850
The Atlas Copco G5 FF (8152103850) is an oil-injected rotary screw air compressor with an integrated refrigerant dryer, mounted on its own air receiver (tank) so it arrives as a compact, ready-to-run package. It runs on a single-phase 230 V, 60 Hz supply and is driven by a 7.5 hp (5.5 kW) motor, making it a practical fixed-speed screw air compressor for small workshops and growing businesses.
Inside, two precision rotors form the compression element known as the airend, and oil is injected into it to seal, cool and lubricate the rotors before being separated back out of the air stream, leaving a typical oil carry-over of just 5 mg/m³ in the compressed air. Because this is a Full Feature (FF) model, a refrigerant dryer is built in: it chills the compressed air so that water vapor turns to liquid (condensate) and is drained away, delivering the dry, clean air that spray painting, woodworking and drilling depend on.
The G5 FF has a design pressure of 109 psi (7.5 bar) and is air-cooled, so no cooling water is required. Its IE3 motor (a premium-efficiency class that helps hold down running costs) drives the airend through a Direct-On-Line starter. Lubrication uses Atlas Copco Roto-Xtend Duty synthetic fluid with an oil capacity of 0.85 US gallons (3.2 liters), and everyday operation is managed by the Electronikon Basic microprocessor controller, which handles start, stop and pressure settings. Its electrical components carry UL/cUL approval and its mechanical (pressure) components are ASME-approved.
Built for continuous duty, it operates in ambient temperatures from 34 °F to 115 °F (1 °C to 46 °C), with some derating of output above 3,280 ft (1,000 m) of altitude. Sound output is a quiet 65 dB(A). It is made in Italy.
To be sure the G5 FF suits your operation, check that your compressed-air piping matches its discharge outlet and that your electrical supply can carry the load on the single-phase 230 V connection before installation. Tell us the peak air demand of your tools and we will confirm the rated delivery at your working pressure and help you size the compressor for your site.
